James had his first bath in the sink while he was at our house. It was cute because he was kind of scrunched up and couldn't be his usual 'thumper' self and kick his legs! He was a trooper and adapted to being at Grandma's and Grandpa's really well! Grandpa could get him to laugh like no other, while Grandma had the magic touch of getting him to sleep and talk! Well... his kind of talk! He was telling me all kinds of stories! :)

Grandpa got to do one of his favorite things with James... play!!!

He also had some really good snuggle time... and appears to have the magic touch of helping him to sleep as well. I think Amy misses us just for that very reason! ;)

Mommy enjoyed her playtime with James also. He sure loves her! His face lights up when she simply walks into the room. So sweet...

I love his little sly look...

Along with his cute impish grin...
not to mention toothless! :)

Grandpa and James enjoying the rocking chair that has been in the family for 30 years, since Sam was born... All of our children loved this chair.

Brad was just happy to be here and on our comfy, nearly famous, green couch!

Time to say good-bye to James and Amy. The Oakland Airport was nice enough to allow Pat and me to go up with Amy and James and help her out until she was boarded. So impressive of Southwest to do that! *big smiles* As you can see, James was ready for the trip! But Grandpa was not ready to say 'good-bye'.

We feel so blessed that they could come for so long. Brad, thanks for letting them stay the extra week - it was wonderful!
we all loved being there- thanks for having us! in fact, we all MISS being in CA! only a few more months... just gotta remember! love you guys.
