August

This month has been somewhat busy. I like it like that. :)

Here are some pics of what we've been up to-

 The day before my birthday we went to Muir Woods.

Who doesn't love to see where much of 

"Return of the Jedi" was filmed!?

After we were done at Muir Woods we went to San Francisco

 and had lunch at Pier 23. 

Then we walked down to Pier 39, 

and just enjoyed being in the city...

which is unusual since Pat doesn't really like SF.

And then our family grew! We welcomed Darci Lynn Dell

into the world on August 18th!

We will soon have pictures, then she will get her own post.

But, this is the quilt I made for her.

Our eldest grandchild, Rylee began kindergarten...

she is loving it!

This last Saturday, the 27th, we went to San Leandro

very early so that Rachel could run a half marathon!

She ran the 13.1 miles in less than two hours.

We are so proud of her.

We have had a wonderful August.

It was full of ups and downs,

but the ups outweighed the downs!
