2012 Christmas Letter

Merry Christmas to our Dear Friends and Family ~

We hope this season finds you all healthy and happy!

Sam and Linzi continue to reside in Rexburg. Two more semesters and Linzi will complete her degree! Yay! Sam continues to work on his art (and at his job), if you’d like to take a gander at his amazing talent you can find his blog here: http://samdellart.blogspot.com - take a look, you won’t be disappointed! Rylee is in first grade and is one of the kindest, sweetest little girls you could ever meet. She is a defender of others, and is an amazing big sister to Sadie and Chloe. Sadie is four, in preschool, and is quite the adventurer; she also loves being loved, and giving love to others. Chloe is nearly two, and is nearly as adventurous as Sadie! She loves to get into the pantry and figure out what is there that she can play with…usually the flour wins!

Craig and Angie still live in Orem. Craig graduates in April with a BS in Information Technology from UVU! We are so excited for them! They are hoping to move when he graduates; we can’t wait to see where life takes them. He continues to work for UVU in the IT department. Angie is busy as a mom and serving in the Relief Society presidency over Relief Society meetings, and supporting Craig in his school work. Lucas is three, in preschool and took swimming lessons this year. He likes doing his ‘homework’, going ‘camping’ (cookout in canyon), loves telling stories, and often spends his time as Batman. Darci, who is one, is a sweetheart, a happy little girl, and a talker. Her vocabulary is growing leaps and bounds! She is a cuddler and a little love. We were fortunate enough to see them several times this year!

Amy and Brad happily reside in Eugene, Oregon. Brad graduated with his Master’s degree in Economics from U of O last December and was blessed to be hired by the company where he interned. Brad serves in the Elder’s Quorum presidency, while Amy serves in Young Women’s. Amy loves blogging, craft projects, cooking, hanging out with Brad and Rach, and chasing after their three little misters! There is never a dull moment, though she probably wishes there were sometimes! James is 3, almost 4. He loves dressing up as superheroes, pirates, and knights. He also loves Primary, playing with his brothers, with friends, and their family. Gavin, at age 2, is a typical two-year old! He can go from happy to sad in the blink of an eye! He loves Star Wars, building with Legos, and superheroes. Jack is 13 months old and keeps Amy hopping! He is a curious little guy who is much taller than his brothers were at that age, which causes him to get into things a bit more than they did! He is such a love, and will often go up to his brothers to give them hugs and kisses.

Rachel continues to live in Eugene and loves it there; she lives about a mile and a half from Amy and Brad. She is working full time and really likes her job and co workers. She is always busy with her student ward and friends. She continues to go on walks and runs frequently. She spent a week earlier this year in Buffalo with Pat and Sandy. She soaked up the family, and all the sights; Niagara Falls, Palmyra, and Buffalo itself. We were sure happy to bring her with us! Rach continues to be a strength in our family. We are grateful for her; her testimony, her kindness, her stability, and her love and support.

Pat and Sandy keep busy with life. Things changed a little over a month ago for us when Sandy’s mom moved in. This year we spent all of our vacations visiting family. Our trip to Buffalo was to celebrate Pat’s mom’s 80th, which included many extended family members, making the trip extra special and memorable. We were also able to visit all of our children in Idaho, Utah and Oregon (and see our grandkids!). Church-wise Pat is now serving on the Stake High Council, and Sandy is our ward’s RS Visiting Teaching Coordinator.

At this time of year, and with society the way that it is, we are truly counting our blessings; our family, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and our dearest friends and family. We love you all. Merry Christmas!
