Pics, trips and stuff

We went for a drive and ended up in Idaho! We were able to visit Sam, Linzi and girls for several days. One of the things we did while we were there was to go and see Mesa Falls. It sure was beautiful! We were able to have a picnic there, and some were eaten up by mosquitoes! (grateful it wasn't me!)

Rylee, stylin' her purple hat!

All of us at the falls!

Once we were finished visiting Sam's family we took a drive south, where we visited with Craig, Angie, Lucas and Darci. It was fun to see them again and enjoy their company. We attempted to have a campfire, but due to the then recent fires we weren't able to. Fortunately, our hotel has a nice little patio area, where they have a grill, and tables and chairs. We opted to have our 'camping' experience there! All in all, it was a fun trip to visit with our kids, kids-in-law, and grandkids.

Lucas and Grandpa...  I think they got their hats mixed up!

We had to get a quick picture...they wanted to be up and about!

A month later we took a trip up to Amy's for Gavin's 2nd birthday (and to celebrate mine also). We had a fun time on Friday night going to the Scandinavian festival in Junction City. They had abelskivers, which is a favorite of our family's!

On Saturday we drove to the coast... to Newport and went to the aquarium. The boys sure enjoyed it! So much fun! Then we had grand plans to go to the beach. Only thing was, the weather didn't cooperate! The wind was blowing, so we all ended up getting sand-blasted!

Amy and her family came to visit for a week recently. Craig and Angie also came for several days!
We had so much fun!

Lucas is a pro! He really throws well for a 3 year old!
Apple Hill was a must! So fun!
Apple Hill again, attempting to get pictures of the kids!

On Saturday, the day Craig and Angie left, we all went over to Brad's parents place where they have horses. All the kids, and some of the adults, were able to ride the horses.

Lucas, happy with the dinosaur book!

We sure had a good time, and were sad to see them leave.
How grateful we are that we could spend time with some members of our family!
