St. Patrick's Day

I am well aware that we have not yet celebrated Valentine's Day... but as much as I love Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day means so much more to me!!! Now, you would in most cases think the opposite would be true. Valentine's Day is known as the "Romantic" holiday; the day to express love, even to celebrate love! However, for me, St. Patrick's Day is much more about love and romance. No, it's not due to the silly leprechauns, or shamrocks, nor is it the green beer (really?) they serve on that holiday. In fact, it has nothing, zero, nada, to do with St. Patrick himself... though there is a certain other Patrick that it has to do with!... St. Patrick's Day is the day we were married, 31 years ago this year. Today I decided that I was going green with my blog - in celebration of St. Patrick's Day - the day that I married my one true love!!!

... and we are both Irish! ;-)

  1. Oh- you should put a picture of James up on the side. Unless you don't want to... just an idea... not trying to be bossy :)
